Recto Verso-Ireland (2023)

Prints produced during Janine’s artist residency in Ballenglen, Ireland that served as the foundation for her Recto Verso duotypes, which showed in the Alchemy of Color exhibition at Merge, Stone Ridge in Hudson River Valley in New York. The color palettes in these prints were derived from her field trips through the countryside in counties Mayo and Sligo, where she took photographs and collected color samples which she later integrated into my print process.
